This privately owned studio has everything you need to make your vacation comfortable and enjoyable. Located in the new Expedition Station, its modern decor is a nice change of pace and the unit has all you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Ski rentals are located with the building for your convenience. Its furnished with a LCD TV on the wall, full bath room, kitchen area, sleep sofa, bed section and has a great view of the village. You are in the heart of the village when you stay at my unit as the shopping, restaurants, night life and the Split Rock pools are just outside the premises. The 'Village' at Snowshoe WV is at the top of the mountain rather then the bottom and the Expedition Station is a true ski in/ski out location. Snowshoe has the highest elevation on the east coast and the best skiing in the mid Atlantic region. A skiers paradise for sure.
Winter: Winter at Snowshoe offers the best skiing in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic areas. You will find fresh and man-made snow November through April. Snowshoe Mountain offers 57 trails and 14 lifts on 275 acres. Silver creek is Snowshoe's sister resort, not only offering great skiing but is home to The Ruckus Ridge Adventure Park for Snowboarders. Ski both mountains on one lift ticket. Night skiing is also included in the lift ticket price! In addition to skiing, families can enjoy outdoor/indoor swimming at the heated Split Rock Pools, snow tubing at Silver Creek, snowmobiling, horse drawn sleigh rides, cross country skiing, or a romantic dining adventure at one of Snowshoe's back country huts. Snowshoe also offers a fantastic night life including nightclubs with live bands, dancing and live comedy!

Summer: Summer at Snowshoe offers fun for the entire family including mountain biking, golfing, fishing, swimming, rock climbing, hiking, tennis, horseback riding, canoeing, or tubing and rafting. The scenic Cass Railroad is only minutes away.
Golf Information: During the summer when temperatures almost never reach 80, play the Gary Player designed Raven Golf Course (formerly Hawthorne Valley Golf Course) - rated 'top 100 in the country' by Golf Magazine.
